
House panel blasts TSA over Precheck strategies
The Transportation Security Administration sometimes uses bomb-sniffing dogs to shorten checkpoint lines by steering more travelers through expedited screening, but House lawmakers blasted the strategy Tuesday.
“We have been banging TSA over the head for the last three years that I’ve been in Congress to not do this,” said Rep. John Katko, R-N.Y., who leads the Homeland Security subcommittee on transportation security. “We’re simply not going to tolerate it.”

Which Hotels are the Most Popular Among Business Travelers?
Where do business travelers like to stay when on the road for work?
According to a new study by Certify, which tracks expense reports, Hampton Inn, part of the Hilton family, is the most expensed hotel chain among business travelers. The average amount that travelers spent at Hampton Inn in 2017 was $240.59.
Marriott Hotels came in second with an average cost of $272.15.

American, Delta Revive Their Re-Accommodation Agreement
Delta and American airlines agreed to a new deal that will enable the airlines to rebook customers onto each other’s flights in the event of unexpected flight disruptions.
The new agreement went into effect Jan. 24.
American said its priority remains keeping customers on American or its alliance and joint business partners, but “this gives our team members another tool to re-accommodate customers.”
